Jettykoon releases their 2nd CD titled X. The house band at the sunset bar The Montauket, this local favorite has plays their originally written and composed groove rock tunes every Thursday sunset in summer for the past 10 years. Jettykoon plays regularly other popular venues across the East End. Musicians, Abby Levin, Thomas Muse, Billy Lucy and Bosco Michne are joined on their new CD by guest performers Chad Smith
from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mike Mazzaraco, Matty Liot and Manny ‘The Twister’. A mix of California 70’s Rock, Vintage Country, Country Rock, R&B and Reggae are some of the styles recalled by Jettykoon’s music.

X is the culmination of 4 years of studio work and many years of inspiration taken from decades of environmental defense and political action (hence the protest songs of which there are several on the CD), surf travel, love won and lost, family life and Eastern Long Island’s nurturing. Many songs have autobiographical foundations and reflect a longing for a “cool sweet and easy” life for us all and our future generations.
